The LIVING BAUHAUS Art Foundation is actively committed to supporting emerging talent: In cooperation with the Children’s Choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden as well as with Berlin schools and kindergartens, our art therapists accompany the artistic development of children and young people with a special interest in art. Another central focus of the foundation’s work is the art-historical exploration of the Brandenburg country estate and monument Bärenklau in Schenkendöbern (the so-called “Schloss Bärenklau”), along with its listed park. The goal is to develop Bärenklau into a contemplative yet creative place in the heart of Europe – while preserving the monument’s architectural substance. At present, a program is being developed to support fellows both in Bärenklau and Berlin, alongside an events division for concerts, readings, and conferences.
